Your tasks:
- You will design and program everything from individual machines to fully automated packaging lines. You will also create automation solutions and further develop the control technology in plant and machine construction (PLC, HMI, drives, etc.).
- After a training phase, you will apply your know-how to the standardization, maintenance and servicing of the machine software.
- Implement new functions in existing software.
- You document your project conscientiously (checklists, test plans, operating instructions, etc.).
- You will enjoy carrying out test runs and commissioning both in-house and on site at our customers' premises.
You will contribute to the interface with our specialist departments and customers internationally.
Your profile:
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician or electrical engineer with a focus on automation technology, preferably with further training as a state-certified technician or industrial foreman in electrical engineering; alternatively, completed studies in automation technology, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
- First professional experience in PLC programming in mechanical or plant engineering
- Initial knowledge of the Siemens SIMATIC product families (S7, TIA or comparable controller types)
- Know-how of safety technology, bus and drive systems is an advantage
- Ability to think structurally and an independent, goal-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Good German and English, other languages an advantage
